The Acer AS5739G-6132 was designed for entertainment and gaming. You’ll find that games appear incredibly crisp and realistic on the 15.6-inch HD CineCrystal 1366 x 768 display. The combination of the Intel Core 2 Duo processor processor and the Dolby Home Theater surround sound system (with 5.1 channel surround sound) bring movies and music to life.

My Best Laptop indicates that the build quality is pretty good. The flat keyboard takes some getting used to but it runs games pretty smoothly.

It’s components (2.1GHz dual core processor and 4GB of DD3 RAM, and GT 130 graphics card) allow you to play games from 2007 on a medium-high setting. Its speaker system and built in sub-woofer sound excellent. Battery life is about 2.5 hours at high settings and 5-6 hours on low settings. You’ll have to uninstall a far amount of the bloatware and upgrade to Windows 7 but doing so will significantly speed up the system.

Excellent processing speed and memory to record and play 720p TV shows on the tuner.”
